At the Telstar Hotel, we aim to be environmentally responsible and are open to our guests educating us further with their ideas.

Below is a list of our green policies :~

Waste

• All recyclables are recycled.
• We use environmentally friendly products when cleaning.
• Our printer uses 100% recycled paper and we re-use all plastic bags.
  
• We use refillable soaps and bubble bath in the bedrooms and black bin liners made from recyclable plastic.
  
• Our business cards are made from 100% recycled card and our post cards from 50% recycled card.
  
• We harvest rain water for our plants.

Energy saving

• We use energy saving light bulbs.
• We use local suppliers to cut down on the fossil fuels consumed by delivery vehicles.
• We use an energy company that provides 100% renewable electricity.
• We ensure that we have full loads of laundry before a machine is switched on.
  
• We only replace electrical goods with A rated or above.
• We use a washing line to dry towels on sunny days.
